For UK universities, applications open in early September. Oxbridge and medicine courses have an earlier deadline of mid-October, while the general deadline for equal consideration is at the end of January. Applications can still be submitted after this, but only if courses have spaces available.

For US universities, Early Decision deadlines typically fall in early November, and Regular Decision deadlines are in early January.
